The ABHIMANA Workers Union launched their website at Ramada Hotel Colombo. Prasantha Lal De Alwis, Chief Commander President Counsel, graced the occasion with his presence. Paba Deshapriya, the consultant for ABHIMANA, was invited to launch the website for the public. Board members of the Union with Co-chair Bhoomi Harendran, ED of the National Transgender Network (NTN), delivering the introduction speech, and Co-chair Sakuni Mayadunna, ED of the Trans Equality Trust (TET), giving the vote of thanks. Workers of the LGBTQIA+ community and leaders from various unions of Sri Lanka also participated in the event.
